Eric Alterman他, "What Liberal Media?"

--Tom Johnson, Excellence in the News: Who Really Decides.

--Crain Communications, Top Executive Salaries for Major Media Companies, 2001.

 --Eric Alterman, What Liberal Media?

--Harold Evans, Good Work

There is no such thing at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it & I know it... The business of journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright... We are the tools of rich men behind the scenes. We are jumping jacks, they pull the strings & we dance. Our talents, our possibilities & our lives are all property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.
--New York Press Club 1953, Journalist John Swinton

The watchdog media in America, as they like to portray themselves, appear to be more like lapdogs to their corporate owners. It is especially intriguing that none of America s major watchdog media show much interest in determining who owns the corporations which control the media and the nation.
--Rule by Secrecy, Jim Marrs
